Memo to Chretien

WorldNetDaily: Canadian, 16, held as al-Qaida killer

Chretien was right that there are no terrorists in Canada.  They’ve all gone overseas to kill our American brothers.

Pathetic.

Plane impact

As Sep 11 approaches, nothing can illustrate the horror more than the picture of the plane at the lgf: Moment of Impact

Lest we forget.

Another gem from Mark Steyn, possibly the best columnist on the planet.

Kyoto=bad for Canada

If you wanted more proof that this country is run by the PM and his unelected advisors and no-one else, read this story in the NATIONAL POST

Kyoto is clearly based on junk science.  It is simply a wealth transfer from the rich to poor countries, and has very little to do with pollution control.

Blatchford

Blatchford is a writer in the National Post.  She is one of the best writers I’ve read, when it comes to human interest stories.  Her lastest instalment on her across America drive to string victims of 911’s hometowns together is amazing.  Please read this article and enjoy!

A part of her leg, all that was ever found of the young woman who was always full throttle, was buried that day in a tiny white box underneath the footstone by her grave. Annie Nelson was the only North Dakotan killed in the terrorist attacks, as large and glorious in spirit as the state that shaped her.

Very sad.

Sad stories

Drowned girl mourned by Leafs’ family

I hate these stories, being the father of an infant.

Head athletic therapist Chris Broadhurst’s 20-month-old daughter died after drowning in the family’s indoor hot tub Sunday morning.

It just shows how you cannot be too careful with your children.  I’ve read that a baby can drown in a small puddle of water.  Be careful with your children - they’re precious!

Eric Margolis

I used to like Toronto Sun Columnist: Eric Margolis, but lately has has become very Anti-American.

In fact, a common view here in Europe is that the Bush administration has run amok and is a greater threat than international terrorism, or Iraq.

I’m not sure what set him off, but he’s definitely off my preferred columnist list.

DVD players

Thestar.com/The DVD divide

This is why I didn’t buy a DVD player!  The formats are in flux, still!  That said, the new ones will be backwards compatible I’d think.  You gotta believe the movie industry is salivating over new formats, so people re-buy their movies!

Precious

Children are so precious.... I hate to read stories like this.  What do you think the punishment will be if they’re found guilty?  It’s always less for baby killers...we’ll watch this story.
