Torontoistan?

Britain/London has always been ahead of Canada/Toronto in terms of cultural influence.  This one is scary.

De-nile isn’t just a river

Our PC police and politicians may not be able to see it, but LGFers can.

We are sooo in danger.

Not too bright

Reading this story about the attack on the TSE tells me these kids don’t keep track of what’s going on.  Last I looked, there hasn’t been a trading floor in years.  I also doubt that any of the main computers to control the trades are anywhere near King and York, the TSX’s head office.

Also, the building is near impossible to get near to during rush hour, and its shipping area is a devil to get to (it doesn’t actually have its own, making it an even lousier target.)

Size does matter

There is a reason why we used to discriminate against small and light cops, and here it is.

Iceberg sucks

Sorry, I’ve tried to listen to Iceberg radio.  The PD doesn’t know what she’s doing.  If you’re going to play all new stuff, and rarely have any old stuff we learned to like by being forcefed it for years, than you’ll never be able to count me in your audience.

The invisible airwaves of Iceberg Radio on Sirius Canada crackle with the sounds of everyone from Stompin’ Tom, Rush and Bryan Adams to Hot Hot Heat, Bedouin Soundclash and Bif Naked.

Here’s another idea: how about a good disc jockey or 3 to hold our hands through some of this crap?  As schticky as he is, I’m starting to like Cousin Brucie on Sirius 6.

Destruction continues

Dictator Mugabe, having driven out all the productive white farmers, set
his guns on the poorest blacks, with these results.

Here’s a hero

There are few people that qualify, but

Young Trudeau: Fascist, anti-Semite, and separatist

Finally, some real dirt that those of us who think Trudeau destroyed this country can use.

Update:  Steyn weighs in.

Fortunately, Conrad Black is on hand to keep things in proportion. In Pierre, he concludes his appreciation thus:

“I always found him a delightful conversationalist and a gracious host, though perhaps slow to reach for the bill in a restaurant, even when we were there on his invitation.”

Too true. He left us with the bill, in every sense.

Only in Quebec

With rulings like this, who wants Quebec in our country?

No violence in this sexual assault?  Perhaps it would help if the left would start calling it RAPE, as was done in the bad old days.  Maybe then even Quebec judges would see the extreme evil in this case.

A father raping his infant daughter is a crime one notch below murder.
