GG hubby defends
In the wake of the latest tax-uum release, the GG’s $41 million dollar budget, we have this amusing video of her arrogant husband looking very foolish. Of course, he avoids the question of the government planeride to their cottage.
He spoke after it was revealed that Gov. Gen. Adrienne Clarkson spent $41-million last year, including the use of a government plane to fly her to her vacation residence on Georgian Bay in Ontario.
Yes, it may all be a witch hunt, but dammit, why can’t we be hysterical when half our income is confiscated every year?

PM better hire a “Minister of Recovering Money”. Another few hundred million missing, this time via the DND and HP?
Canadian Prime Minister Paul Martin promised an investigation into the latest scandal to shake his government, as the National Defence department reeled from a multi-million dollar fraud claim.

Coleson Cove Tax-uum

Trudeaupia has a scary post about why government has no business being in mega businesses, especially power. Are you listening Dalton?
New Brunswick spent $750 million dollars to refurbish their Coleson Cove generating station to burn Orimulsion, a fuel only available from Venezuela. And now there is some question about whether or not Chavez and his goons are still interested in supplying this fuel.
